Scott Loikits
Managing Director of Design
As the Managing Director of Design for GF, Scott Loikits AIA oversees all design-related tasks for the entire firm, following the approach of design through collaboration. Scott also spearheads the marketing department and manages day-to-day operations of the New York and Singapore office.
With more than 25 years in his architectural career, Mr. Loikits has worked with and studied under some of the most highly regarded architects in the world, including Renzo Piano, William Pedersen, Bernard Tschumi, and Yoshio Taniguchi. 10 years of his career were spent at Kohn Pedersen Fox, where he was a senior designer at the associate principal level. In 2007, Mr. Loikits was asked to start a satellite design office in NYC for a firm looking to establish a presence beyond Asia.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Loikits has led several projects including retail prototypes, mixed-use developments, and urban retail both in the United States and globally.
Mr. Loikits holds a Master’s in Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University. He is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB). He is certified by the US Green Building Council.
