Based in GreenbergFarrow’s Boston office, Stephen Powers has almost 20 years of professional experience having successfully managed projects throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. He founded GreenbergFarrow’s Boston engineering department and now oversees both the New Jersey and Philadelphia Civil departments as well. Thus, he appreciates how to effectively lead multiple teams as a result of his understanding of the roles each team member plays throughout the project development process. He is often charged with performing tasks outside of the normal “engineering” scope because of his intimate grasp of the development process.
Mr. Powers has broad experience with site development projects, having managed small-to-large scale commercial projects, mixed-use developments, and residential subdivisions. Working primarily on larger scale developments, he understands the nuances of streamlining the approvals process while maintaining cost-effective site designs to the complete satisfaction of his clients. Mr. Powers has a unique combination of superior technical experience and practical project management capability, facilitating a unique perspective and allowing him to see all facets within each individual project.
Mr. Powers holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is a registered professional engineer throughout New England, as well as New York and New Jersey, and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
