Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer at GF, Edmund Truty leads the firm’s financial strategy and stewardship, ensuring strong fiscal discipline, transparency, and alignment with long-term business objectives. With more than 20 years at GF and deep experience in the architectural and engineering industry, Mr. Truty brings institutional knowledge, operational rigor, and strategic insight to the executive leadership team.
Prior to his appointment as CFO, Mr. Truty served as Controller and Director of Accounting, where he was responsible for firmwide financial and project reporting, audit and tax oversight, and internal controls. He has led GF’s annual financial audits, federal, state, and local tax filings, and financial reporting for international subsidiaries in Mexico and Singapore. His responsibilities also include oversight of the firm’s ESOP and 401(k) Plan audits and administration, as well as participation in annual stock valuation activities.
Mr. Truty plays a key role in GF’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, contributing to the identification and evaluation of potential acquisition targets, assessing financial and organizational fit, and leading post-closing integration efforts. His work ensures financial continuity and operational stability as the firm grows and evolves.
In addition to his financial leadership, Mr. Truty has expanded his scope to include leadership of the Human Resources function, where he emphasizes governance, compliance, and alignment of compensation and performance management strategies with the firm’s vision. His approach supports a culture of accountability, compliance, and long-term employee engagement.
Edmund Truty holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Saint Bonaventure University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
As CFO, Mr. Truty partners closely with executive leadership and the Board of Directors, providing clear financial insight, risk management perspective, and strategic guidance that support GF’s continued growth, stability, and success.
