GreenbergFarrow (GF) is proud to announce that three of its projects were recognized at the 11th CREDAWARD ceremony held in Shanghai last week. In the Urban Regeneration & Renovation category, GF earned the Gold Medal for MIA Hotel, the Silver Medal for 277 Wuxing Road (The WEAVE), and the Merit Medal for Fuzhou Road.

MIA Hotel – Gold Medal

MIA Hotel is a bold reinterpretation of hospitality design, transforming an existing structure into a refined urban retreat. GF’s approach preserved the site’s character while introducing a modern design language that emphasizes balance, comfort, and contextual sensitivity.

277 Wuxing Road (The WEAVE) – Silver Medal

Located at the junction of Xujiahui CBD and the former French Concession, 277 Wuxing Road revitalized a long-underutilized complex into a high-quality commercial, cultural, and leisure destination. The project includes four buildings, three mixed-use and one parking structure, and demonstrates GF’s expertise in adaptive reuse and urban regeneration.

Fuzhou Road – Merit Medal

Near the Bund and Huangpu River, the Fuzhou Road project transforms a mid-20th century commercial block into a vibrant mixed-use development. GF Design led both architecture and interiors, integrating office space, serviced apartments, and ground-level retail, while preserving structural elements and enhancing sustainability and pedestrian experience.

The CREDAWARD is one of China’s most respected design awards, recognizing excellence in architecture, urban regeneration, and renovation. The awards celebrate projects that combine design innovation, cultural sensitivity, and sustainable practices, highlighting work that positively shapes cities and communities. Receiving recognition from CREDAWARD reflects GF’s ongoing commitment to responsible, high-impact design in Shanghai and beyond.

“Proud of what we’ve achieved together at GF Design—three awards, one shared vision,” said James Lew, Design Director, GF Singapore. “These awards reaffirm our belief that thoughtful design can breathe new life into cities while respecting their cultural fabric.”
