ASPEN (American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition)

GF designed the new headquarters for the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) in Silver Spring, MD, creating a space that embodies the organization’s purpose-driven mission and culture built on innovation, collaboration, and teaming, while supporting their work advancing clinical nutrition and metabolism.

The reception features a custom wheat grain–inspired donor wall as a backdrop, paired with a palette of deep blue, plum, tangerine, warm whites, and light and dark wood tones, creating an energizing yet soothing atmosphere tied to the corporate brand. Adjacent conference rooms were outfitted with the latest audio-visual technology to support collaboration and events.

The breakroom lounge was designed as a flexible destination space, capable of functioning as three separate environments or a single large event area using a deployable garage door. Private offices feature floor-to-ceiling glass to maintain visual connections to open areas and maximize natural light, while promoting collaboration and efficient work.
