GF provided architectural and master planning services for BMW Sterling, a 17,000 SF project combining a 14,000 SF showroom addition with a 3,000 SF office, training, and meeting area on the second floor of an existing parts storage warehouse. The project was delivered while the facility remained fully operational.
GF managed all phases from design development through construction administration, ensuring the new showroom provided a sleek, sophisticated backdrop for the dealership’s vehicles. Services included architectural base-building, interiors, and coordination of furniture and specialty displays. The design adhered to corporate standards and featured a permanent low-iron glass curtain wall.
A critical challenge arose with the discovery of an underground telephone/data ductbank. GF quickly adapted the foundation plans to maintain the construction schedule, successfully resolving the unexpected site condition while keeping the project on track.
