GF transformed Brickyard into a co-working and restaurant space designed to serve as a “third place” between home and office for the Ashburn community. The space blends casual comfort with functional work areas, encouraging both social interaction and productivity.
Cozy seating areas double as casual meeting spaces, while bar-height countertops provide flexible touchdown workstations and room for social events. The open studio layout minimizes separation between desks to foster collaboration, flexibility, and connectivity among users. Natural materials and textures are combined with intentional pops of color, and carpet patterns were designed to evoke a Turkish rug, reinforcing the “third place” concept.
