GF designed Constellis’ centralized headquarters to consolidate multiple offices across the National Capital Area into a single, cohesive facility. The 90,000-SF space spans three floors and includes an Executive Suite, expansive open-plan workstations, and private offices along each level. Frosted glass fronts on private offices allow natural light to permeate interior areas.
Each floor features “huddle spaces” for small 4-person meetings, private phone rooms, and spacious break areas. On the reception level, a flexible Training/Conference Center can function as three separate conference rooms or expand into one large event space.
The design reflects the Constellis brand by amplifying the angles of the company’s freehand star logo throughout the space. The faceted reception desk, open-plenum ceilings, dual-toned carpeting, and acoustical treatments in the breakrooms all echo the star motif. A Feature Wall honors employees who lost their lives performing security services, displaying a star for each individual in recognition of their sacrifice.
