GF designed Cookology, a recreational culinary school offering hands-on cooking classes for both the public and food service professionals. The 5,565-SF space features five commercial kitchens that can be combined into one large event area. The design balances affordable elegance with an industrial aesthetic, reflecting Cookology’s playful culture. Light-toned ash wood at the storefront contrasts with cold-rolled steel, while desaturated blues and grays inside complement stainless steel working surfaces and bare concrete floors. Flexible layouts are achieved with sliding wood-framed glass panels, allowing spaces to function independently or fully opened for larger events. Contemporary lighting and colorful furniture complete a vibrant, functional, and engaging environment.
