GF provided architecture and master planning services for the Eko Atlantic Medical Centerin Lagos, Nigeria. Situated on an 11-acre site, the state-of-the-art medical campus was designed to be self-contained and easily accessible, integrating medical and residential components in a cohesive environment.
The campus includes three primary buildings: a main medical facility serving as the interventional hub with 150 in-patient beds, a secondary medical building with an additional 150 beds, and a 26-story residential tower for staff. Designed with a north-south orientation to channel ocean crosswinds, the facility promotes natural ventilation, symbolizing respiration and healing. This landmark project modernizes Nigeria’s healthcare infrastructure and expands opportunities for medical professionals in the region.
