Under an indefinite delivery/quantity (IDQ) contract with Florence-Darlington Technical College, GF provided full architectural services for the renovation of the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology (SiMT) Conference Center. The project scope focused on replacing failed operable partition systems while enhancing acoustic performance, addressing structural concerns, and modernizing interior finishes.
Our team led a comprehensive design process that included documenting existing conditions, conducting structural assessments, and evaluating updated partition technologies that meet current performance standards. We developed integrated solutions that responded to the architectural context and resolved underlying structural issues.
Services also included preparation of detailed construction documents, budget-aligned cost estimating, and construction administration to ensure the project was executed in line with the college’s goals and the design intent.
