GF led a re-envisioning of the Marvin Center (formerly “Colonial Central”) to improve student financial and registration services. The previous DMV-style setup, with open kiosks, lacked privacy and comfort. The redesigned space provides one-on-one engagement, with staff at “Check-In” kiosks and self-help kiosks for troubleshooting. Sensitive conversations are accommodated in a newly created “back of house” area. Vacant teller stations were repurposed to form a waiting area that doubles as an after-hours study lounge. This new design prioritizes privacy while offering a more personal, customized experience for students.
