Georgetown High School Auditorium

This project involved a comprehensive renovation of the existing auditorium to increase seating capacity, enhance accessibility, and incorporate a new sound booth. The ceiling was removed to accommodate upgraded stage lighting, A/V systems, and technology equipment while addressing mechanical and electrical improvements.

GF collaborated with acoustical and A/V consultants to design sound panels, optimize sound reflectivity, and select equipment tailored to the school’s budget. Backstage areas, including dressing rooms and support spaces, were also renovated, along with the stage floor and lighting. Additionally, a new green room/classroom space was introduced.

The gallery area received significant updates, including the addition of a new lobby at the school’s front façade. To further improve accessibility, an additional restroom was incorporated within the existing band ensemble room, and the women’s restroom was expanded to meet updated requirements.
