GetWellNetwork

GF designed GetWellNetwork’s (GWN) headquarters to embody the company’s purpose-driven mission and culture, emphasizing innovation, collaboration, and teamwork while reflecting GWN’s Six Commitments, Patient and Inspirational Quotes, Employee Rules, and corporate branding. Every design decision and material selection reinforced these guiding principles.

Visitors are immediately welcomed in the reception area by GWN’s iconic Smiley Face emoticon, set against a palette of rich purples, vibrant golds, high-gloss whites, and warm raw oak veneer, complemented by polished concrete floors. A custom mural depicting GetWellTown serves as a striking backdrop to the main seating area.

The open studio space is organized with wood pods made of raw plywood, each branded with GWN’s Six Commitments, providing open teaming areas for impromptu collaboration. Pods are outfitted with meeting tables or lounge furniture and equipped with AV/IT technology for presentations or product demos. Adjacent private offices maintain a visual connection to the studio through floor-to-ceiling glass, and low-height workstation panels ensure natural light reaches throughout the space. Departments are distinguished using accent fabrics coordinated with corporate colors, and all walls, including conference rooms and open areas, feature a floor-to-ceiling writeable wall coating.

Main conference rooms are centrally located near reception and the breakroom, with retractable walls for flexible space configuration. Each room is wrapped in raw plywood and features state-of-the-art videoconferencing, AV/IT, and interactive smart boards. The breakroom, adjacent to the game room, opens via an industrial stainless steel and glass garage door to create a large collaborative and social area. Eight corporate colors are applied in random stripes on walls and ceilings, complemented by linear lighting and ceiling voids for visual interest. Banquette seating and a central raw oak bar counter echo the design language of the reception and wood pods, supporting meals, casual meetings, and staff gatherings.

Although not LEED-certified, GF integrated sustainable materials and strategies, including recycled rubber tile floors, recycled stainless steel, FSC-certified veneers, low-VOC paint, acoustic ceiling tiles, LED lighting, and recycled fabrics. Over 95% of all regularly occupied spaces enjoy access to daylight, supporting a bright and energizing work environment.
