GF served as architect for the Bozhou High-Speed Railway Convention and Exhibition Center, a 1.3 million SF mixed-use facility on a 9.2 million SF site in the city’s business and exhibition district near Bozhou South Railway Station. The program includes two large exhibition halls, a conference center, ancillary office spaces, and a parking garage, all organized to maximize functionality, flow, and flexibility.
The architectural concept, inspired by a bird in flight, symbolizes Bozhou’s cultural aspirations and progress. Horizontal extensions evoke scrolls, emphasizing openness and cultural identity, while layered volumes create distinctive façades that animate the urban streetscape. Integrated green spaces and pedestrian connections ensure the center blends seamlessly with its surroundings.
Designed for adaptability, the facility accommodates exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale events, with the flexibility to serve as temporary medical facilities during emergencies. As both a cultural and economic landmark, it reinforces Bozhou’s role as a growing regional hub.
