Greenland Wuhan Tianhe International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Wuhan Tianhe International Convention and Exhibition Center is a landmark development that combines innovative design, cultural symbolism and functionality, positioning itself as a premier destination for exhibitions, conferences, and events. Situated near Wuhan Tianhe Airport, the center leverages its strategic location to serve as a gateway for international trade and cultural exchange in Central China.

Encompassing 15 million SF of total floor area, the design integrates indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces, including 26 halls, 6 lobby areas, and 322,917 SF of multifunctional outdoor exhibition grounds. Supporting amenities include a multifunctional hall, premium office spaces, luxury hotels, and vibrant commercial zones, creating a dynamic ecosystem.

The architectural concept is inspired by Wuhan’s water culture, with the roof and facades designed to emulate the flowing waves of rivers, symbolizing the “heavenly river” that defines the city’s heritage. At night, the illuminated roof transforms the structure into a glowing Milky Way, underscoring Wuhan’s identity as “China’s river city.”

The center’s efficient “fishbone layout” ensures seamless logistics for both pedestrian and vehicular movement. Exhibition areas are integrated with landscaped public spaces, offering an inviting and functional environment. Sustainability is a core focus, with energy-efficient systems, green spaces, and drought-resistant landscaping emphasizing ecological responsibility.

The Wuhan Tianhe International Convention and Exhibition Center is a modern symbol of Wuhan’s ambitions, blending cultural heritage with future-forward innovation. Designed to host global exhibitions, business forums, and large-scale cultural events, it stands as a beacon of regional development and international collaboration.
