GF provided interior design services for the Ningbo New World T2 and T4 Office Towers, located within the Ningbo New World TOD mixed-use development in the core of Ningbo’s Yinzhou District, China. Developed by New World China, the 9,150,000 SF transit-oriented development combines office, retail, commercial, and lifestyle destinations centered around a public art park.
The interior design for the office towers reimagines traditional workplace environments through a “Vertical Creative City” concept, creating community-focused spaces that integrate art, lifestyle, and innovation. Public areas, including the main lobbies, elevator halls, and washrooms, were designed with a hospitality-inspired approach to provide a refined and welcoming experience for tenants and visitors.
A warm, sophisticated material palette featuring natural timber, marble, textured stone, and bronze and champagne stainless steel accents establishes a timeless aesthetic throughout the interiors. Thoughtfully integrated lighting and spatial planning create a seamless transition from the surrounding urban environment into the office towers, reinforcing a workplace experience centered on creativity, comfort, and human connection.
