GF led the renovation of a 1970s-era, 4,000 SF, 330 fixed-seat, stepped floor Teaching Auditorium, transforming it into a premier location for teaching, pinning ceremonies, special events, and E-sports. The project includes new lighting, audio-visual systems, and acoustical treatments to enhance the experience for teachers, presenters, and audiences. These systems are controlled via a central programmed system with multiple control points.
Accessibility and flexibility are significantly improved by removing the existing raised stage and backstage areas. Audience access and circulation are enhanced with the creation of a new center aisle and upgraded seating, 15% of which is powered to allow device charging. Additionally, new fire suppression and fire alarm systems, along with updated HVAC distribution and controls, ensure improved safety and comfort.
