As a result of GF’s work on Tri-County Technical College’s Academic Master Plan, it was determined that Miller Hall would be repurposed to accommodate a large flexible meeting space, classrooms, HR Offices, Campus Police Offices, a catering kitchen, and new restroom facilities. The renovation would also include updates to the building’s exterior, including new entrances and site improvements to facilitate outdoor events and improve accessibility.
GF was tasked by Tri-County Technical College to provide Pre-Design Services, which included developing the conceptual design and estimating the total project cost. This covered anticipated construction costs as well as the College’s indirect costs. Working closely with the College and utilizing data from the Master Plan, GF created a comprehensive conceptual design package. This package included an evaluation of the existing building systems and structure, a project narrative, rendered site and floor plans, conceptual building elevations, a 3D perspective, and a preliminary cost estimate for the project.
