GF led the complete renovation of Rutledge Rivers Residence Hall at the College of Charleston, transforming the outdated 28,000 SF dormitory into a vibrant, modern living environment for students. The design maximized bed count while enhancing opportunities for social interaction through the use of smaller sleeping quarters paired with larger, shared common areas. Key architectural improvements included structural reinforcement to ensure stability during seismic and high-wind events, along with a redesigned building envelope to address and improve indoor air quality. The revitalized facility has earned LEED Silver Certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and performance.
