East River Plaza is a 650,000 SF retail center on five levels with an adjacent seven-level parking garage for 1,248 cars. Separated by an open-air gallery space with pedestrian walkways and bridges, the first three retail levels include a cellar below grade to house two big-box retailers while the upper two levels are occupied by seven smaller users. The project site is situated on portions of three city blocks and squeezes the entire program onto a limited 6.3-acre site.
