GF provided architectural services for The Sanctuary, one of the most exclusive luxury lake communities in the Southeast, offering expansive wooded and waterfront lots for sale on Lake Wylie. This project was the first in Mecklenburg County to achieve LEED certification, showcasing our commitment to sustainable design.
The Sanctuary features numerous eco-friendly elements, including solar-heated hot water, high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, energy-efficient appliances, and high-efficiency insulation. This project has been recognized with the Commercial Wood Design Award for its innovative and sustainable approach.
