Located in China’s Jiangsu Province, GF assisted in the retail circulation renovation of this 22,604 SF shopping mall.
This renovation was requested because an external sunken plaza separated the mall into two retail corridors, which not only made navigating the mall difficult for shoppers but also resulted in limited foot traffic to some retail units. The GF team was able to unite the retail corridors into a single passageway and improve the flow of traffic by designing an elongated glass-paneled entrance to maximize the visibility of the interior retail display.
To further enhance the customer experience, a central retail and restaurant communal social space were added, along with stone columns to divide retailers and improve storefront aesthetic.
