GF designed Chongqing Sincere Jie Fang Village, a 1,000,000 SF mixed-use development in Ba’nan, Chongqing, that includes residential, mall retail, street retail, a grocery, and a cinema. Conceived as a central component of a larger urban master plan, entry points were strategically located to allow future connectivity to adjacent sites. The mall and retail portion serves as a gateway from the main boulevard, welcoming pedestrians into the development. An innovative indoor–outdoor passage connects the sidewalk to the central plaza through the spine of the mall, while street-level retail is carefully integrated along pathways and bridges, creating a smaller-scale, traditional shopping experience throughout the lower portion of the site.
