GF led the comprehensive renovation and expansion of Goose Creek High School’s campus, delivering much-needed classroom space and a refreshed building identity. The project involved restructuring the entire campus to provide updated interiors, capacity relief, and enhanced campus connectivity. A key feature of the design was the creation of a focal promenade that links the front parking area to the athletic facilities and fields, improving accessibility and flow across the campus.
The new classroom wing includes a secure, enclosed outdoor quad, ensuring increased safety for students. A phased construction plan utilizing “swing space” allowed for the demolition of existing buildings without the need for portable classrooms, resulting in a savings of over $800,000. Construction was completed while school was in session, with GreenbergFarrow providing egress and life safety plans to maintain the safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors throughout the two-year process.
