These new media center additions provide an open layouts which accommodate books, computers, seating, and student work/activity space. Sustainability features such as daylighting were included to add visual interest to the space while controlling costs, and providing energy savings through the use of natural light. The existing media centers were converted into classroom spaces. Also, an elevated garden was designed to address the slope of the site and provide occupants with a natural vista from the large curved picture window.
