The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) enlisted the services of GF to renovate several floors in their Basic Sciences Building in Downtown Charleston. Multiple schematic designs were prepared to give MUSC several options from which to choose. The renovations encompass staff and faculty offices on the first floor, and lab, classroom, and lecture areas on the second, third, and fifth floors. The renovations include technological upgrades for electronic displays, as well as new finishes and furnishings. Project construction has been phased to allow minimal disruption, as the building remained completely operational throughout the renovation process.
