GF led the redevelopment and rehabilitation of Newry Mill, a National Historic 98,000 SF mill building in Seneca, South Carolina, which had been vacant for over 50 years. This mixed-use development features 197 apartment units, with 79 units located within the historic mill building and 118 units in the former warehouse area. The development also includes a general store and café for residents and the local community.
Amenities were designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and include a dog wash and park, parking garage, outdoor pool, indoor gym facilities, and clubhouses. The 9.5-acre site also offers open green spaces, a natural wildlife trail, and a pedestrian bridge, while preserving the historic dam at Lake Keowee. GreenbergFarrow’s design and rehabilitation efforts have revitalized this historic property, blending modern amenities with its rich heritage.
