GF provided architectural and design services for the renovation of this 1978 building, originally built as senior housing, which continues to serve this important function for the Charlotte Housing Authority. The six-story mid-rise features 164 residential units and approximately 8,300 square feet of amenity and support spaces. The renovation included a complete interior overhaul, as well as updates to exterior elements such as windows and balconies.
The project received LEED Gold certification and won the 2014 USGBC-NC Charlotte Region Chapter Sustainable Business Award.
