Stono Park Elementary School is a new $16.5 million, 500 student capacity school on an existing (approx. 5 acres) site. The existing school was demolished to make way for the new facility, which is approximately 70,000 SF, based on the current CCSD Education Facility standards. The limited site acreage and existing flood plain resulted in a 2-story facility. Master planning took these limitations into account in order to maximize the building program and on-site circulation.
