Coastal Montessori Charter School is a grade 1-7 Montessori curriculum charter school for the Georgetown County School District. The facilities were designed for Montessori teaching methodology and philosophy – the classrooms are flexible and residential in character and scale. Daylighting was utilized wherever possible to further enhance a strong outdoor connection. The principals of LEED, including water efficiency, indoor air quality, sustainable materials, and sustainable site design were also implemented.
