St. John’s Place

1120 St. Johns Place is a 7-story, 75-unit residential building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where GF provided full architecture services. The project delivers thoughtfully designed luxury rental units that combine functional layouts with modern finishes to enhance urban living.

Constructed with cast-in-place, flat plate concrete, the building features a minimal grid façade of GFRC panels with rain screen and stucco systems. Units range from studios to one- and two-bedroom layouts, each designed with large industrial-style windows, fully equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms, in-unit washers and dryers, and climate controls. Interiors feature muted monochromatic and earth-tone finishes, and all units are ADA accessible and adaptable.

Resident amenities prioritize convenience, security, and community. A Virtual Doorman and LiveLion security system provide peace of mind, while Tulu on-demand services give residents easy access to daily necessities. Shared spaces include a resident lounge, co-working area with high-speed FiOS internet, bike storage, a fitness center, and a children’s playroom.

Outdoor amenities include a landscaped garden terrace and a rooftop lounge with BBQ grills, seating, dining areas, and sweeping views of the NYC skyline. Residents also benefit from dedicated parking.
