GF provided architectural and planning services for The Zinc Building at 475 Greenwich Street in Tribeca, a rare seven-story free-standing condominium completed in 2008. The project includes 21 luxury units, each occupying a full or half floor, and 5,300 SF of retail space. GF also helped secure a zoning variance to permit residential use on the site.
The building features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Hudson River and One World Trade Center, 11-foot ceilings, Wenge hardwood floors, gourmet kitchens, and Italian porcelain-tiled bathrooms. Amenities include a full-time doorman, part-time superintendent, gym, refrigerated delivery storage, bike storage, and individual resident storage. Located on a quiet cobblestone street, The Zinc Building offers modern, luxurious living steps from Hudson River Park, SoHo, and the West Village.
