GF designed a full tenant build-out for DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse’s newest flagship store in Las Vegas. GF provided full architectural, structural engineering, and MEP engineering services for this store – including design and detailing of the steel storefront canopy, HVAC, electrical and structural requirements for the custom display items.
The GF team worked with external vendors on several digital features. The sensory experience begins at street level from escalators that lead down to the sales floor, creating a video tunnel from custom mounted wall and ceiling LED panels, with full video animations and sound systems. The basement’s interior fixtures take on an industrial, warehouse look that compliments the giant ‘shoevator’ – where customers can order via tablet in front of the glass display of shoes accompanied with steel elevator lifts and conveyor belts that act as a vending machine.
